"We booked Pinelodge only a couple of weeks of ago and we weren't disappointed - on walking in it felt so homely! Elaine was great with communication and sharing photos when we booked. The lodge itself is fantastic, you really have thought of everything to ensure our stay was great... and it was! Thanks for all the treats you left us - I really enjoyed the wine and chocolate! We visited quite a few places including Keswick, Buttermere, Penrith and Go Ape. Thanks John for recommending Catbells - we managed to scramble our way to the top and the views were amazing. Thank you Elaine and John for being such great hosts. We have had a lovely holiday in your lovely lodge."

"Amazing place owned by John and Elaine, wonderful heartwarming and very hardworking people. To our surprise there is also an alpaca, two sheep and horses which is a great addition to the place. We are very grateful for choosing this lodge, we've had an amazing time. Because of the great location we were able to visit and see lots of beautiful places; however, we ran out of time so we will be back! Every little thing has been thought of, anything we needed was met. John was very helpful with places to see and go; both John and Elaine are so friendly... just lovely people. We would be very happy to come back - Charlie and Skye didn't want to leave and I have already recommended to people on Facebook looking for somewhere.
